Welcome to Amirus Kennels

We are Mell & Chris Greenall, after residing in NSW for several years, We recently moved to QLD after
Chris received a military posting. We can regularly be seen at Shows, Obedience and other Dog Sport arena's.
We have been involved with Amstaffs for a few years and have been blessed to have a fantastic mentor in the breed
Steph Johansson from Towilla Kennels. We are also in appreciation of Parastone'S Kennels in the Netherlands, Paul Marks
has not only been willing to share his extensive knowledge with us but also has entrusted us with semen from up and
coming star Ch. Parastone'S Don't Pull the Trigger to allow us to develop the foundation of our breeding program.

As a kennel we aim to develop a long term breeding program based on the Woods lines, and produce
Amstaffs true to the breed standard with excellent health and temperament. Please note that 
Amirus Amstaffs does not breed for "colour", nor do we support any breeders who use colour 
such as "blue" as the sole aim for producing and selling puppies.
 
As breeders we are passionate about ensuring the the ongoing development and promotion of the breed in Australia.  
All of our dogs are health tested, and must pass with good results prior to being bred from. As potential puppy buyers, you should never accept any excuses for breeders not health testing. Amstaffs suffer from several serious health conditions that are geneticly inherited. By purchasing a pup from a breeder who does not health test you will pay the price not only at the vets but emotionly as you risk watching your new dog suffer.

In addition we accept nothing but excellant temperaments. We compete not only in the show arena but also in Obedience, Lure Coursing, Endurance and Weightpull.
 
As a result we hold our puppy buyers to a high standard. We will only accept loving homes that
understand the need for responsible dog ownership, please expect to answer lots of questions as a
potential puppy home. All pups sold by Amirus Amstaffs will be on limited regsitration with the
ANKC with desexing contracts in place. A very limited number of pups may be available on Main registration
to show homes, conditional to co ownership agreements with Amirus Amstaffs.

Our dogs are first and foremost beloved members of our family, show dogs and competitors second.
They are kept in a family environment, spending the majority of their time with us.
They have brought so much laughter and joy to our lives that its impossible to imagine life without them.
